Backup no iCloud

Privacy policy
Vogal Keyboard · updated October 22, 2026
In short
What you type with the Vogal keyboard stays on your iPhone. Vogal collects no data, has no ads, doesn't send your text to any server and doesn't sell data.
The keyboard
- Learned words, text shortcuts, clipboard history and settings are stored only on your iPhone.
- Full Access is used for key sounds and haptics, for the history of what you copy, and for the keyboard to talk to the Vogal app on the same device. Nothing leaves your iPhone because of it.
- In private mode, the keyboard learns nothing from what you type.
iCloud backup
If you turn on backup, your clipboard history is encrypted and stored in your own iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database). Only your Apple Account can access it; we can't. You can delete the backup at any time under Clipboard in the app.
Translation
In-keyboard translation is done by Apple's translator on your iPhone, without sending your text to us.
Purchases
Vogal Premium is sold through the App Store. Payment is processed by Apple; we don't receive your payment details.
Children
Vogal is not directed to children under 13.
Your rights
You can delete all data stored on your iPhone by deleting the app, and the iCloud backup from within the app. For questions or GDPR/LGPD requests, write to the contact below.
